The Board of Directors recognizes the importance of collaborating in order to help students have good attendance at school. Therefore, school employees and volunteers, community members and local juvenile court judges, as well as any other stakeholders, are invited to attend the June meeting of the board of directors to collaborate in developing the academy's Attendance, Truancy, and Automatic Withdrawal Policy.
A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. to discuss how the academy intends to spend its Part B funds for special education. This hearing is open to the public, and the hearing will include an opportunity for public comments and input from program participants and parents regarding the use of these funds. The hearing will be held at The Leona Group Ohio Office located at 3911 Martha Avenue, Toledo, OH 43612. Questions may be directed to 419-474-3235.
